SEALTH

I knew growing up that I wanted to be an actor. However, that is a very difficult feat to accomplish when you are a middle school-aged kid with an early understanding of self-awareness and equal amounts of social anxiety. Though I thought it a curse at the time, looking back I understand that this is the reason I learned who I was at a young age, and the person I discovered would not allow self-imposed obstacles to stand in the way of my future.

So, I (nervously) started my acting career in high school. Three years and some community theater shows later, I turned professional in the “New Jersey revival” of The Bridges of Madison County, starring Broadway’s Kate Baldwin and Aaron Lazar, directed by Hunter Foster. With this acclaimed production I was offered my Actor’s Equity Card, just shy of my graduation, when we performed it again at the historical Bucks County Playhouse. In between those two runs, I co-lead the original cast of Camp, A New Musical Off-Broadway in New York City.

With my own motivation and discipline serving me very well in high school, I decided not to attend college. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have an admirable education in acting. I spend as much time as I can working to achieve a more grounded art through auditioning, reading books (Uta Hagen, Howard Fine), assisting private acting coaching with teacher Lane Napper (Nickelodeon's Victorious), participating in script readings, and working on-set/off-stage in any positions available to further my knowledge of the business as a whole.

I also take an abundance of acting classes. I have studied at the famous HB Studio, where I practiced my craft of scene and character work under the Hagen Technique. I frequently take improvisation classes at The Peoples Improv Theater (PIT) to improve quick and intuition-based thinking in acting, as well as real life. I have been privately coached in stage and screen combat, by industry leading fighters Jared Kirby and Kaitlyn Farley (New York Combat for Stage & Screen).

There is no limit to learning. I believe worldly experience builds education as much as the class itself, so I try to seek out coaching from all over the world. I recently returned from Calabria, Italy where I studied with celebrity acting coach Howard Fine from the renowned Howard Fine Acting Studio in LA. Teamed with the Quiet Collective retreat, Howard created an unforgettable week-long intensive centered around finding your authentic self in all roles you play. Myself and 16 other chosen actors left with special and immeasurable knowledge about our craft.

Outside of acting, I have an eye for authenticity. I make it a daily effort to be unapologetically myself. In a world where social media influences even the smallest of choices, I think learning who you are and what you like is incredibly important. I have a knack for personalized fashion and interior design. I care very greatly about nature and animals. I am currently a dad of two cats, a pony, a turtle, dozens of local deer, foxes, whatever else, and twenty indoor plants.
